Macdonald Carey (de son vrai nom Edward Macdonald Carey) est un acteur américain, né le à Sioux City (Iowa) et mort d'un cancer du poumon le à Beverly Hills (Californie).
Biographie Il commence sa carrière à la radio. Après un bref passage à Broadway, il débute à Hollywood dans le film d'Anthony Mann, Le Mystérieux Docteur Broadway. Après 1958, il s'oriente vers la télévision.
Par ailleurs, il écrit plusieurs carnets de poésie et publie, en 1991, son autobiographie où il n'évite pas de signaler son addiction à l'alcool.
Sa fille est membre du groupe Mama Lion.
